Opera Lights

Fireworks explode over the Sydney Opera House.

My final post for 2021.

I'm not quite sure what to say about the year gone past. It's been a mix of highs and lows, but overall I think it's been a wonderfully successful one... even if it felt like we were in lockdown for most of it.

And even now as we're about to enter 2022 with cases climbing exponentially and our 'leaders' doing what they do best - that is passing the buck and doing all they can to absolve themselves of any responsibility to the people - I look at what we have achieved so far and look forward to what we can all achieve in the new year.

First and foremast? Voting out the current federal government for leaders who actually take the responsibility of leadership seriously.

So I hope you all have a wonderful evening celebrating all you've achieved (and the fact that you've now made it through 2 years of a pandemic), and dreaming of a brighter future to come.

Happy New Year.
